Russia says EU remains important econ, foreign policy partner
MOSCOW, Dec 1 (PRIME) -- The E.U. remains an important economic and foreign policy partner for Russia, and Moscow is interested in stable and foreseeable cooperation, according to Russia’s foreign policy concept released on the portal for legal information on Thursday.
“The E.U. remains a main trade and economic and foreign policy partner for Russia. Russia is interested in developing constructive, stable and foreseeable cooperation with E.U. states on principles of equal rights and mutual respect of interests,” the concept said.
Further development of relations with European countries requires improvement of the legal base and institutional mechanisms of cooperation.
Russia is also ready for intense and mutually beneficial dialogue with the E.U. on main foreign policy issues.
